Lyssna på våra hav

Baltic Sea has seen several big changes in its recent history. It has been challenged by the growing population around it, contamination and climate change. In “Lyssna på våra hav” (Listen to our waters) you will travel with us through the last century accompanied by the great composers Toru Takemitsu and Astor Piazzolla and you will hear brand new music by the acclaimed Swedish composer Stefan Klaverdal. While travelling through the decades you will hear languages spoken in the vicinity of the Baltic Sea.

Between and during the movements pre-recorded text about the history of Baltic Sea during the years 1900-2020 will be heard. The text is recorded mainly in English, but also in the following seven languages: Finnish, Russian, Latvian, Polish, German, Danish and Swedish.
